Aggregated listings.

Some listings on Obilli were not posted here. They were found on other public African marketplaces and indexed so you can search several sites at once. Here is exactly how that works.

How you can tell

Every aggregated listing carries a “Listed on …” badge naming the original marketplace, and a link that takes you to the original page. There is no ad on those pages, and they are excluded from search-engine indexing — they exist to help you find things, not to compete with the source.

What we show and what we don't

  • We show a short factual summary: title, price, location, category and one photo.
  • We do not reproduce the seller's full description. You read that on the original site.
  • We do not publish the seller's phone number or WhatsApp from an aggregated listing.
  • We do not place advertising on aggregated listing pages.

What we add

  • Cross-marketplace search: one query across several sites and countries.
  • Normalised prices with a currency converter, so you can compare like for like.
  • Consistent categories and locations across sources that all name things differently.
  • Related listings so you can see what comparable items go for nearby.

Removal requests

If you are a seller or a marketplace operator and you want a listing or an entire source removed, email removals@obilli.com or use the contact form. We remove on request, without argument, usually within one business day. You can also use the “Report” button on any listing page.

Robots and rate limits

Our indexer identifies itself, requests pages slowly, and skips any site that asks us not to crawl. If your site should not be indexed, tell us and we will disable that source permanently.
