Privacy policy.

This page is maintained by Obilli to answer common privacy questions about how we handle your data. We try to keep it short and plain-spoken.

What we collect

  • Account info — name, email, phone number, optional avatar.
  • Listings you post — title, description, photos, price, location.
  • Usage data — pages you view, searches you run, device and browser type.
  • Communications — messages you send through Obilli to other users.

What we use it for

  • Running the marketplace — showing your listings, delivering messages, ranking search results.
  • Trust & Safety — detecting fraud, reviewing reports, enforcing our community guidelines.
  • Improving the product — aggregated, anonymised analytics on what's working.
  • Sending essential service emails (account, security, reports you submit).

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your personal data to third parties.
  • We don't share your phone number with anyone you haven't messaged first.
  • We don't use your private messages for advertising.

Your rights

You can download or delete your data at any time from Settings → Privacy. You can also email privacy@obilli.com with any data request and we'll respond within 30 days.

Subprocessors

We use a small set of third-party providers for hosting, email, image storage and analytics. Each is bound by data-processing agreements limiting use to delivering the service to Obilli.

Advertising & cookies

Obilli displays third-party advertising to keep listings free. We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve, personalise and measure ads.

  • Google AdSense — Google, a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on Obilli based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
  • Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland: we and our partners rely on your consent for personalised ads; you may withdraw consent at any time via your browser cookie settings.

Children

Obilli is for users aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, tell us at privacy@obilli.com.
